Woohoo! Welcome to Weird, Wild, & Wicked Tales for the cover reveals of the whole Ivory Road serial. I thought I’d do something different this week because not only can I, but I’m pretty sure y’all would like to see this.
I wrote this story decades ago (2000) while I was doing fieldwork up on Adak, Alaska in the Aleutian Islands. It rained a lot that summer so I had a lot of writing time.
I wrote a chapter a week for most of that year and ended up with a 4 part serial action adventure sci-fi romance. I rewrote it back in 2010 or so and now I’m rewriting it again to make sure it’s up to my current level of storytelling ability. But my cover artist has made four new covers for the different installments, and right now you can buy two of them online. The two others should come out in 2021, all polished up to shine.
In 2015, I published the first two. A WALK IN THE SAND and OUTBACK DREAMS. The third installment is called A DANCE BETWEEN WORLDS and the fourth is THE KAROBIS CALLS. I’m currently working on A DANCE BETWEEN WORLDS and there have been extensive rewrites to make the story pop. I’ve put the new covers on the website but I won’t add them to the books until I get the last two installments rewritten. But they’re coming, I promise.
