Jacob says: His topic is awesome because the energy off the characters radiates. The surliness of the main speaker, and the guy who is asking him to come into this job position… I want to reach through the screen and punch him. What an interesting hook.
Silver James
Jacob says: As always, I love the characters, and they always feel like a Crime Noir vibe set in a fantasy world. It’s romantic in it’s energy for adventure.
Sheilagh Lee
Jacob says says: The characters are passionate and intense. The dialogue is dramatic and climax driven.

Week 699 Winner
Jacob says: The dialogue, interaction, and flow is so easy and natural. I feel drawn to these characters, and it’s easy in a Steampunk Western kind of way.
“Hey, Hanako.” Luger scratched his head while chewing on his quill. “Do you know what chaos is?”
“Oh? Is this a philosophical question?”
Luger bit his quill in half. Spitting out the pieces, he rummaged in his bag for his third replacement of the night.
“I wish I knew! I swear Professor Starrick intentionally doesn’t give us enough information to pass her tests!”
“Oh my, are you allowed to have others help you on your tests?”
“No one would have to know.” Luger twiddled his large thumbs. “Besides, it is an open spellbook test.”
“Then the answer should be in your notes somewhere.”
The orc wizard pouted.
“Not necessarily; knowing Professor Starrick. The worst part is, I’m sure some of my spells had something about chaos in them. But now I can’t find anything about it in my whole book!”
The hobgoblin cleric coyly covered her mouth with her black fan.
“Now that sounds like chaos.”
