Author Life: Physical Transformation

A few of you might know that in June 2021, I realized my health was deteriorating. My clothes were necessarily getting bigger and I weighed as much as I did when I was 9 months pregnant with my first kid. Even though I spent all of 2020 and 2021 walking almost 7 days a week, I was only gaining weight.

My family has a history of heart disease on both sides, and studies have shown that people who carry their weight on the front (belly and torso region) are more susceptible to heart failure.

Guess where I carry almost all my excess fat?

So I had to find something to help because everything I’d tried (giving up sugar in 2009, giving up cream in my coffee in 2013, the Venus program, walking, eating only Paleo) – none of it worked at all. I just kept getting bigger, more stressed, and I felt like an ugly failure.

So on June 9 2021, I started a program called Metabolic Renewal. It was a fitness system that talked about hormones and workouts specifically for women. High intensity, short duration workouts that helped balance the hormones and burn fat using Human Growth Hormone and Estrogen. I won’t bore you with the specifics, but you can see what 4 rounds of 12 weeks (1 year) has done.

It has come off fast considering how long it took me to put it on. The last time I weighed as much as I do now and wore clothes I can now, was in 2013. Happy Anniversary to me!

So there it is. I hope y’all are well, and take care of yourselves.
